You will find that it is necessary to let things go; simply for the reason that they are heavy. - C. Joybell C.

(197 plays)I’m taking a break from listening to Trouble Will Find You today to share some wonderful new music from UK singer/songwriter Matthew Thomas Dillon (aka Windmill), who recently released his third album, Above Duffle Farm.
Windmill has been a favorite of mine since his 2007 debut Puddle City Racing Lights and he continues to enchant with this new LP, which is full of his unique brand of sweeping, whimsical indie pop. “Jelly Globe” is an early favorite but pick any track from the album and you’re sure to be captivated.
Above Duffle Farm is available for ₤5 at Windmill’s bandcamp.
Amelia Earhart mystery solved on Pacific atoll?
Lost opportunities to locate Amelia Earhart in the crucial first days — and a failure to connect important dots regarding physical evidence — may have doomed the pioneer aviator.
I realize this was (is?) on going but how the fuck did I not hear of this? I’d get my phD in archaeology if I got to dig up Amelia fucking Earheart

Album Stream: Mikal Cronin "MCII"
San Fransisco garage rocker, Mikal Cronin is streaming his new album MCII today on NPR First Listen. I was blown away by the Cronin’s exuberant, fuzzed-out single “Weight” earlier this year, and the album fully lives up to that promise, delivering 10 tracks of sunny, boisterous and highly catchy rock n’ roll.
MCII is out next week on Merge Records.
Jesus, This Week
^^^^^^^ Seriously, though
I wonder what the state of things will be when I go home to Boston next week.
jeeeeeeeez what, 5 weeks left of college?
